Frequently Asked Questions

What are the limitations of the free version?

The free version allows you to create 1 trip, add 10 pins, take 10 photos and 2 videos. Upgrade to Pro to unlock unlimited trips, pins, photos and videos.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Open the app, go to the "Settings" page, tap "Upgrade to Pro" and choose a monthly or annual plan. A 3-day free trial is available.

Will my data be lost?

Data is saved locally on your device by default. We recommend enabling iCloud backup — your data then syncs to your iCloud account automatically and can be restored when you switch devices.

What languages are supported?

TripPoint Note supports Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. It automatically switches based on your system language.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone "Settings" → tap your Apple Account name → "Subscriptions" → select TripPoint Note Pro → "Cancel Subscription". You can still use it until the end of the current billing period.

The app won't launch or keeps crashing?

Please try: 1) Force close the app and reopen it; 2) Restart your device; 3) Check for updates in the App Store. If the issue persists, contact us via email with your device model and iOS version.

iCloud sync failed?

Confirm your device is signed in to your Apple ID and that iCloud is enabled; check your network connection; turn iCloud backup off and back on in the app's settings. If the issue persists, contact us.

How do I export my data?

Currently you can save data via iCloud backup. Photos and videos can be viewed and shared through the in-app media library. CSV export is coming in a future version.
